Thanks to all you lovely people who came to see us in Islington, we had a brilliant time, hope you did too!

We have a single coming out in July, hopefully Salt Water ( featuring James Chance) , Paris ( featuring Alice Grant ) and Red Sky with some pretty insane remixes…more news on that later!

We’ve finished the new album, and we can’t wait to unleash it on you later this year.
It’s been produced by Robert Harder and Paul Epworth and we spent a long time getting it just right so if you liked Last Chance Disco you’re gonna love this. The working title is SKINNY GRIN and it features No-Wave saxophone legend James Chance, electronic pop superstar-in-waiting Coco Electrik and Alice Grant, a singer with the ballsiest sound since Poly-Styrene.

Acoustic Ladyland Press :

Where lowbrow and highbrow collide in a car crash hybrid of punk and jazz, the music of Acoustic Ladyland is thrillingly disrespectful.
Mojo

Bringing their distinctive rock ‘n’ roll edge to 11 new songs and, with names such as Iggy and Perfect Bitch, this is genre-bending jazz for the Noughties and beyond.
Music Week

Last Chance Disco Album:

Not only the jazz album of the year but also the most thrilling piece of punk AND metal that we’ve heard in a while..
Time Out – December 2005

The second album by London four-piece Acoustic Ladyland ia an all-out assault on the senses. It breaks with most ideas of what a jazz record sounds like, with smack-in-your-face post-punk production….An album that brings out the indie rock fan’s inner aesthete, and the jazz fan’s inner hooligan….Last Chance Disco is headbangingly good.
John L Walters – The Guardian – CD of the week. 6th May 2005

Starting with the pell-mell explosion of Iggy, the four-man assault unit blasts through a selection of original instrumentals that evoke a primal thrill… Melodically adept, rhythmically inspired and philosophically unhinged, it’s a performance of mind blowing magnificence
